  • How long is the series?  Sacred Beginning HypnoBirthing® Group Classes are twelve hours of classes (contact the instructor for dates).  If you sign up for the series you should make it to each prescheduled class.  If for some reason you cannot make it to class there is a $45 reschedule fee to cover the CHOICE rental and babysitting/mileage costs for me.
  • What is the cost of the class?  Sacred Beginning HypnoBirthing® Group Classes are $335.  Private instruction varies between $425 and $650 depending upon the package and mileage.  Please read our financial flexibility statement.
  • What is the difference between St. Ann’s Classes and Sacred Beginning?  Sacred Beginning HypnoBirthing® Group Classes are more expensive than St. Ann’s Classes for a variety of reasons.   Class size is a large difference.  I only allow between 4 and 5 couples in a class so that you can experience a more intimate learning environment.  This ensures quality instruction on a personal basis.  Classes at Sacred Beginning are held monthly vs. 3 time per year at St. Anns.  I am a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and a former HypnoBirthing® Mother.  Also, recently I was appointed to the position of Regional Liaison for OH, MI, KY, WV, and Eastern PA within the HypnoBirthing® Institute.  I mentor the Instructors in these areas.  Price is a difference.  St. Ann’s group classes are not as expensive as Sacred Beginning because their series is held at their hospital facility.  They do not have overhead to consider such as renting the space, paying for supplies, copying, etc.  They have a huge medical body backing them up so they can buy in bulk.
  • Can I make payment arrangements?  Yes!  You just need to let me know what will work so that I can approve it in advance.  Read our Financial Flexibility Statement.
  • I am due very soon can I still take the class? Yes.  We can always make special arrangement for mothers due soon.  Private classes are always an option.
  • When should I take the class?  We recommend that you take the class during your second trimester so that you and your birth companion can practice the techniques and they become second nature.
  • Can I bring a companion to class?  Absolutely!  Every Mom is encouraged to bring their birth companion or doula to class with them.  It also can be helpful to have grandparents attend a class or two (if there is room available).
  • I am having a hospital birth, will HypnoBirthing be beneficial?  Yes!  HypnoBirthing® was developed for any mother wanting a natural birth experience so its effective anywhere (hospital, birth center, or  homebirth).  It can also help mothers whom must have a high risk birth experience and need medication of some sort.
  • I am having a Cesarean Section how can HypnoBirthing help me?  Yes.  I used it for my medically necessary Cesarean Section Births of my daughters.  I was up and walking in 3 and 5 hours afterwards.  See this link for more information:  http://www.hypnobirthing.com/faq1.htm
  • Do you offer a scholarship, bartering, or lowered fee option?  Yes!  I am proud to offer a financial flexibility policy.  I never want to turn away parents from classes.  However I help support my family with these classes.   I will work with parents on fees when necessary.
