During the journey of our lives we each have events that impact the path we are to take in life.  Each of these events is a "Sacred Beginning".

Sharon brings her passion for educating women to wherever she teaches.  She is the mother of one angel son, Nikolas whose premature birth was the result of an incompetent cervix.  She was on bed rest for several weeks in the high risk unit of a local hospital when she gave birth to Niko at 26 weeks.  Her son lived for two weeks and then passed away.  Sharon was able to use hypnosis to grieve, gain the courage to overcome fertility challenges, become pregnant, have cerclage procedures and maintain pregnancies.  She birthed her two beautiful daughters via Empowered Cesarean Sections.

Sharon Gourlay is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist that specializes in Hypno-Maternal Services- helping women before, during the birthing year and beyond.  She became interested in hypnosis because of dramatic events which unfolded in her family.  Because of this tragedy she decided to leave her well established career as an Account Executive and become a childbirth educator and hypnotherapist. Sharon holds practitioner certifications in Hypnotherapy, HypnoBirthing®  Childbirth Education, HypnoBirthing®  Infant Massage, and she is a Reiki Master.

Sharon is the only HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator in the Central Ohio region who is also a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist.  She has dedicated her career to help women with fertility, pregnancy, birthing, trauma, and other issues.  During the past four years Sharon has taught private HypnoBirthing®  classes to couples all over Ohio and worked with different clients in her hypnotherapy practice.

Sharon’s desire is to help educate and empower all women to the benefits of hypnosis in their lives.  Our practice is evolving and growing but our first priority is always to help our clients with their goals!
