Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Preparation Package was designed to help VBAC mothers prepare mentally and emotionally for their VBAC experience.  We have carefully designed three sessions which centers on the following concepts:

Session One Intake and Relaxation
  • Description:  You will learn more about hypnosis and how it can help the birthing mother.  We will do a thorough intake and discuss your previous birth experience so that we can create a plan of action for our next sessions.  And then you will have an opportunity to spend 30 minutes experiencing a hypnosis relaxation script which will help you to reinforce a bubble of positivity and release some anxiety and stress.

  • Homework:  You will complete  a journal exercise which we will use to help you to visualize crossing the finish line through a powerful visualization.  You will take time to write and list your fears on paper. 

  • Take Away:  After this session you will take a recorded affirmation and relaxation CD with you to help you to continue to relax and believe in your birthing body.

Session Two Fear Release with a Ritual Release
  • Description:  In Session Two we will discuss your fears and then  you will experience "The Library", where you can release and let go of your fears, concerns, anxiety and other baggage from your previous birth.  We will incorporate a ritual release will allow you to let go of those fears on a visual level.

  • Homework:  You will list words that help to reinforce "relaxation" in your mind:  easing, releasing, melting, comforting, etc.

  • Take Away:  Quotes and Affirmations which will help you to uplift you in your birth preparation.

Session Three Empowering Vision
  • Description:  In Session Three we will use your journal entry to help you envision your birth experience from the beginning of labor through the postpartum period.  This script will help you to reinforce your birth vision.  It will help you to feel empowered and uplifted.

  • Take Away:  You will be given a recorded copy of your "Empowered Vision" to take with you to use over and over again to help reinforce your birth vision.
